Setting up a successful Business Pinterest account takes time. It is not a one-time thing and you're done. To stay current with all the new trends and to be ranked at the top takes months of pinning seven days a week with all new content. Continue reading to learn about the three top reasons why your business would benefit from Pinterest Marketing.
1. How To Increase Your Business Traffic
I want you to think about the first thing your ideal client will search for to get answers to a problem. Start by creating content that will answer your ideal client’s problems and show them you are a knowledgeable expert in your line of business. Pinterest is used to learn something new, get answers to a problem, and find inspiration. Pinterest is a platform designed to drive traffic off the platform to business websites and blogs. When someone is interested in learning more they are more likely to leave the Pinterest platform to your website. This is a new potential lead for your business. Creating pins that will attract your ideal clients will be the starting point for building that new client relationship. Continuously creating new pins that are up to date with new styles and trends will help you rank higher on Pinterest and increase your business traffic.
2. Pinterest Profile and Board Optimization
Creating pins and staying up to date on trends is just one part of Pinterest marketing. You also want to include top SEO keywords in every Pinterest pin description, your business profile, and your Pinterest boards. There are two ways to find the top SEO trending words on Pinterest. The first way is to use the search bar at the top of the Pinterest page by searching for top words and phrases. The second way to search for SEO trends using the Trends Tool that Pinterest provides. The Pinterest trends tool provides a detailed comparison graph chart that visually showcases the top-ranked SEO trending words. It is recommended to use both search options to increase your chances of choosing the top trending words for your written content. It is time-consuming but they are both very simple systems to use.
If you do not have SEO trending keywords on your Pinterest account you most likely will not be ranking very high and ultimately not attracting as many people to your business as you had hoped. Even if you are doing everything right it takes a while to get ranked high on Pinterest but if you keep doing the right steps you will see a difference down the road. Again I can not stress this enough, this is not a one-day process. It will take time. Be patient, you are on the right path.
3. Getting Your Blog Noticed
As a business professional, you most likely will have a blog that showcases your style, expertise, and knowledge for clients to get to know you and your business even better. Although your blog is available on your website, you might not be reaching as many clients as you would like without a Pinterest business account. When designing pins use a picture and a catchy title that intrigues your target audience to pin the picture and to read your full blogs. If they are interested in learning more they are already on your site and can navigate through to learn more about your services offered. Be sure to include something in your blog post that helps them to navigate to other blog posts, your social media accounts, and the services offered. Once you have them on your website you will want to try to keep them interested and to start building that working relationship.
Now that you have a good idea of how Pinterest marketing can benefit your business you can start working toward creating or updating your Pinterest business account to drive more traffic to your website and blogs. By making sure you are optimizing current SEO trending words and getting your blogs noticed through multiple different types of pins you will increase your traffic.
